When we lived in Malakal and were learning Arabic, Avery was as well. The greeting for good-bye is ma salama. Avery would say ma sa-bye-bye! Larson has picked this up in a way. Here in Nairobi you can say Tutuanana badye for see you later. Larson says, “Tutuanana bye-bye!”
